Best Times of Year for Quad Biking in Marrakech

Marrakech is a fascinating destination all year round, and the good news is that you can go quad biking at any time. However, some seasons offer more pleasant conditions than others to fully enjoy your adventure in the Agafay desert or the Palmeraie.

Autumn (September - November): The Ideal Period

Autumn is arguably the best season for quad biking in Marrakech. Temperatures are mild, ranging between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, and the light is magnificent for photos. The tourist season is less busy than summer, which means less crowded trails and a more intimate experience. The Agafay desert offers spectacular golden colours at the end of the day, perfect for sunset excursions.

Spring (March - May): Greenery and Mildness

Spring is another excellent period, with pleasant temperatures and the Palmeraie lush green after the winter rains. It is the ideal time for families and beginners, as conditions are optimal. Cool mornings allow for comfortable riding without suffering from the heat. The snow-capped Atlas Mountains in the background offer a striking contrast with the desert landscape.

Summer and Winter: Always an Option

In summer (June-August), quad tours are offered early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the hottest hours. Sunset rides are particularly popular during this period. In winter (December-February), days remain sunny with mild daytime temperatures, although mornings can be cool. We always adapt our schedules and routes to guarantee you the best possible experience, regardless of the season.
