Desert thrills and a starlit feast: Your 5-hour evening begins with a late-afternoon pickup from your hotel in Marrakech. After roughly 40 minutes on the road, you arrive in the Agafay Desert, where the golden light of the setting sun already dances across the arid ridges.
At the base, your guide hands out helmets and goggles, then walks you through how to handle the two-seater buggy. After a thorough safety briefing, you take the wheel for an exhilarating one-hour ride across the wild desert tracks. Lunar landscapes, ochre hills and sweeping Atlas panoramas create a breathtaking spectacle.
As the sun dips behind the mountains, you make your way to La Bohème camp -- a bohemian retreat nestled among the desert stones. Flickering lanterns, colourful cushions and Gnaoua rhythms draw you into an enchanting atmosphere.
A multi-course traditional Moroccan dinner awaits: fresh salads, oven-warm bread, your choice of tagine or couscous, followed by seasonal fruit. Mint tea flows freely throughout the evening. A live Berber music performance and a captivating fire show bring the night to life, turning your dinner into an unforgettable experience.
The return transfer takes you back to your accommodation, your mind full of vivid memories.
The buggy ride through the desert at golden hour was breathtaking. When we arrived at La Boheme, the atmosphere blew us away -- lanterns everywhere, cushions, live music. The tagine was hands-down the best we had in Morocco. Worth every euro.
I booked this for my parents' anniversary trip and they absolutely loved it. The driver was punctual, the guide made the buggy ride exciting yet safe, and the dinner show was incredible. The fire performance was mesmerizing. Highly recommend!
